New stuff - hairpins, earrings and brooches!

I actually wanted to sew a blouse for my mum in the last few days, but it was too hot for sewing ;_; Well, not exactly for sewing, but definitely for ironing. So I made some jewelry instead.
Here are some new cameo hairpins, bell earrings and flower brooches (or headpieces ^^)

Eigentlich wollte ich in den letzten Tagen eine Bluse für meine Mutter nähen, aber es war zu heiß zum nähen ;_; Also, vielleicht nicht fürs nähen an sich, aber bügeln stand komplett außer Frage. Also hab ich statt dessen Schmuck gebastelt.
Hier sind also einige neue Kameen-Haarspangen, Glöckchen-Ohrringe und Blumenbroschen (bzw. Haarspangen)

Lolita Meetup in Frankfurt

Last Saturday I went to a Lolita meetup in Frankfurt and I really enjoyed the day.
I met some nice girls, the weather was fine and we had fun at the picknick and taking photos afterwards ^^


My outfit is completely handmade, except for the stockings and shoes of course...

Shopping, Sewing and other fun stuff...

First of all: I finished the shirt that I'm going to wear at the wedding on Saturday - my boyfriend's sister is getting married and of course I need something nice to wear.
I actually wanted to make a matching skirt, but I decided to simply combine it with one of my skirts that are already finished ^^

Als allererstes: Die Bluse, die ich am Samstag zur Hochzeit tragen werde, ist fertig - die Schwester von meinem Freund heiratet und ich brauchte natürlich etwas passendes zum Anziehen.
Eigentlich wollte ich noch einen passenden Rock nähen, aber ich habe beschlossen, dass ich die Bluse einfach mit einem schon fertigen Rock kombinieren werde.

I also noticed: going to the drugstore with my mum is fun.
Just like me she can get carried away with buying stuff... and this time she was also buying stuff for me :D That's what I got (isn't the pink shower gel awesome? That was her idea...)

Ich habe außerdem festgestellt dass es Spaß macht, mit meiner Mutter in Drogerien einzukaufen.
Genau wie ich gerät sie manchmal in einen kleinen Kaufrausch... diesmal waren auch ein paar Sachen für mich dabei :D
Hier ist meine Ausbeute (Ist das rosane Duschgel nicht genial? Das war ihre Idee...)

Ich hab auch noch ein bisschen eingekauft... nicht bei DM, sondern online ^^
Ein paar Anhänger für meinen DIY Schmuck. Ich bin nicht besessen von Herzen und Schlüsseln...

And the last photo for today: This is the first strawberry cake my family had this year. Made by me - I won't pretend that it was a lot of work (the actual cake was bought and I only had to cut and place the strawberries plus the glaze), but at least it tasted good.

Das letzte Foto für heute: Unser erster Erdbeerkuchen dieses Jahr. Von mir gemacht - allerdings will ich nicht behaupten dass es viel Arbeit war (Tortenboden gekauft, Erdbeeren geschnitten und draufgelegt, Tortenguss drüber), aber wenigstens hat er gut geschmeckt.

My written (final) exam will be tomorrow and I still need to study some more... which I'll probably do right after finishing this post, unless I can find something else to distract myself xD

Morgen habe ich meine schriftliche Gesellenprüfung und sollte noch ein bisschen lernen... was ich wahrscheinlich tun werde, wenn dieser Eintrag fertig ist. Es sei denn, ich finde etwas anderes, womit ich mich ablenken kann xD

Not exactly new, but...

This outfit isn't really new, but I thought I'd share it here, anyway. I haven't posted any Lolita outfits yet and that's my newest. I'd love to sew more lolita outfits and I have loads of ideas and pretty fabrics, I just don't have enough time.
That's why I make so many small projects like hair ribbons or jewelry - they don't take much time ^^

The skirt, headpiece, ribbon and necklace are handmade.



Das Outfit ist nicht wirklich neu, aber ich möchte es trotzdem mal hier zeigen. Bisher habe ich ja noch kein Lolita-Outfit hier gezeigt, also zeige ich einfach mal das neuste. Ich würde so gerne mehr Lolita Sachen nähen und habe jede Menge Ideen plus passende Stoffe, allerdings aktuell nicht so viel Zeit.
Aus diesem Grund mache ich aktuell eher kleine Sachen wie Haarschleifen und Schmuck - geht einfach schneller ^^

School Work vs Living Room

My final exam will be in a bit more than a week - and guess who has not started to study yet? Yeah, right.
Yesterday I thought it was about time to at least sort all my papers neatly into my ring binder - which I actually wanted to do during the school year, but always lost interest after a while xD

Because my room is a complete mess and I (literally) didn't have enough space for the sorting I decided to turn my sister's and my living room into yet another mess.
What can I say? I succeeded!





I tidied up after I was finished, but of course I forgot to take nice photos afterwards.
Just to show you that our living room is actually quite pretty I took some photos of the corners that were not occupied by my school work ^^

In etwas mehr als einer Woche habe ich meine schriftliche Prüfung - und ratet mal, wer noch nicht gelernt hat. Ja, genau.
Gestern habe ich dann beschlossen dass es mal Zeit wird, wenigstens meinen Papierkram zu sortieren und in meinen Ordner zu packen, den ich eigentlich schon seit einem Jahr richtig ordentlich führen wollte. Dummerweise habe ich daran immer wieder das Interesse verloren xD

Weil mein eigenes Zimmer gerade fast nicht betretbar ist und ich absolut keinen Platz zum sortieren hatte, habe ich eben auch das Wohnzimmer von meiner Schwester und mir systematisch verwüstet.
Hat funktioniert.

Ganz gegen meine Gewohnheit hab ich nachher auch wieder aufgeräumt, aber natürlich vergessen Beweisfotos davon zu machen.
Damit ihr aber einen Eindruck von unserem eigentlich ganz hübschen Wohnzimmer habt, habe ich noch ein paar Fotos von den schulzeugfreien Ecken gemacht ^^
